Hamilton Central railway station, Lanarkshire, 2014
Opened in 1876 by the Caledonian Railway on what is now a loop line between Glasgow and Motherwell. View west towards Hamilton West and Glasgow. The station previously had four tracks with a platform for each of the outer ones. As seen here, the left hand one is original, the right hand one has been moved 'inwards' and a bus interchange now partly occupies the site of the original. The footbridge was replaced in 2017 - see Image
