Former Lodge House
The former lodge house for the Duke of Hamilton's estate. Constructed late 18th or early 19th century and Grade 'B' listed by Historic Scotland. relocated from its former site at the junction of Bothwell Road and the Furlongs in 2001/2002 to allow for the enlargement of the roundabout. Now part of a larger office building.

Hamilton District Museum, steam engine
An inverted vertical single cylinder 'bottle-frame' engine by Marshall Sons & Co Ltd of Gainsborough. A small slide valve engine with a cylinder 4.5" x 8". There was also a George Waller horizontal single cylinder engine on display. The museum at one time had a large winding engine in store but this has since been 'lost'.

Banks of the Cadzow Burn, Hamilton.
These banks formed the site of the Battle of the Hieton ('High Town') in 1650, between the English and the Covenanters. The English won the battle and many Covenanters lost their lives.
