The former Coltness Gatehouse
This building is situated at the corner of Kenilworth Avenue (on the left) and the main road (at the lower-right corner) through Wishaw. [The latter is called Main Street here, but becomes Stewarton Street further to the SE; it follows the course of a Roman road.] The gatehouse was built in the mid-19th century for the Houldsworths, a wealthy Yorkshire family of mill owners who had acquired property here. For further details, see the following listed building report: http://portal.historic-scotland.gov.uk/designation/LB47959 (at Historic Environment Scotland).
