Roundabout near Cleekhimin
After the demolition of the Ravenscraig Steel Works, a new road was built between Cleekhimin and Craigneuk. This is the first of 6 roundabouts on this link road when travelling from the north. However, this will not always look like a country road. Over the next 20 years, there are plans to build here Scotland’s first new town in more than 50 years.
