The Big Heids, Newhouse Industrial Estate, Eurocentral, Motherwell
An artwork by David Mach beside the A8 and installed in 1999. The three giant heads are built up from thousands of welded steel sections and each head measures approximately 10 metres in height. They are intended as a tribute to the miners of North Lanarkshire.
