Cottages for the settlement opposite the New Glencrieff mine. There is a cemetery with headstones for many miners in the lead mining industry.

Old lead miners' cottages in Scotland's highest village. Gold and silver was also mined in the surrounding Lowther Hills.

Wanlockhead Burial Ground
The burial ground has gravestones from 1790s to 1880s include stones of miners killed in accidents; there are also 3 war graves.
