Greenhill Covenanters' House, Biggar
This rural scene by the Biggar Burn in the park is not quite what it seems. The 17th century farmhouse was moved from its original location in Wiston and rebuilt here in 1975, used as a museum to the Covenanting times. However, the museum is now closed with a transfer to a new museum opening this year - see the Biggar Museum Trust website at http://www.biggarmuseumtrust.co.uk/ . The bridge was built as recently as 1988 by Clydesdale District Council and Biggar Museum Trust as part of the Manpower Services Commission Community Programme - information from the bridge plaque.
