Biggar Station (remains)
View eastward, towards Peebles; ex-Caledonian Symington - Peebles branch. Passenger service ceased 5/6/50, goods (Symington - Broughton) 4/4/66. On horizon is Black Mount (1,639 ft.) and Broughton Heights.

The remains of Boghall Castle at Biggar
This was once the seat of the Fleming family but only the remains of three towers dating from the 15th century are standing in this field near Boghall Farm. Due to a grid line running through the site, the near tower and the tower on the right are in NT 0436 while the tower to the left is in NT 0437.
