Main Street, Symington, South Lanarkshire
This is the Symington in South Lanarkshire not the one in South Ayrshire. Symington is a small village about three miles south-west of Biggar. Most of Symington lies to the south of the A72 which runs through the outskirts of the village. Main Street is one of the two routes into Symington from the A72.

Kirk Brae, Symington, Lanarkshire
This Street runs from the village to a fine old church. Symington, like its namesake in Ayrshire, was founded in the 12th century by Symon Loccard.

Symington Kirk, Lanarkshire.
The lovely little church stands at the head of Kirk Brae in the charming Lanarkshire village. There is another Symington Kirk in South Ayrshire and they shouldn't be confused with each other, though Symon Loccard is believed to have founded both communities.
