Calzeat, Broughton
With some clear felling of the forestry on Whitslade Hill. Helm End is the site of a prehistoric fort and settlement, which can be seen straddling the boundary between the clear fell and the grassland to the left.

Old milestone
This stone on the A701 is just north of Rachan Mill at the back of the pavement near Holms Water. Although very sunken, the number which has remnants of white paint, can still be clearly seen.
