Busy Biggar
A nice little town, though there seems to be an endless amount of traffic coming through it! (at least while I was there). The public toilets just a little bit further up the road and to the right of here were judged to be the best in Britain (I heard this on radio 2 just a couple of days after passing through here), I found that they were immaculate.

The Crown At Biggar
The Crown Hotel was decorated with flags for the 2014 World Cup, doubling up for Biggar Gala Day when a lovely festival atmosphere filled the street. As the traffic had to stop to let the fancy dress parade pass, I thought it was too good an opportunity for a Geographer to miss.
