The old bridge at Kirkfieldbank
This bridge is now bypassed by a more modern bridge over the Clyde. However, the old bridge appears to have sustained damage (or just old age) and extensive buttressing and repair work is going on.

This house is located at the southern end of the Old Bridge in Kirkfieldbank, one of the places where the Clyde Walkway crosses the River Clyde.

Clydesholm Bridge
The old bridge at Kirkfieldbank, built in the late 17th century is the oldest surviving Clyde crossing. It is still open to traffic, but the road is now a dead end on the Lanark bank. There is a modern bridge just downstream.

Kirkfieldbank - Riverside Road Bridge
This bridge runs parallel to Kirkfieldbank bridge (where the photo was taken from). It leads from the main village to a small street that would otherwise have no road access without the bridge.
