Clyde Walkway towards Lanark
This 1.5km section of path to Castlebank Park on the outskirts of Lanark was opened in 1995. It descends almost to river level before a zigzag climb to a minor road at Castlebank.

Braxfield Row
Mill workers housing on the road into the New Lanark site. The properties have a third storey on the back due to the sloping hillside. The terrace is named after Lord Braxfield who leased the site to David Dale.
