The Carstairs meanders from the air
The State Hospital is on the left, Carnwath in the distance. The two branches of the West Coast Main Line railway from Carstairs Junction can also be seen.

Crow Wood
The small triangular wood at the corner of Grange road and Covington road is positively hoachin' wi craws (there's a lot of birds around). It wasn't me on my bike that scared them, but a farmer type chap in a big tractor.
