St. Mary's Aisle, Carnwath
A fine specimen of Gothic architecture with a Category 'A' listing. St. Mary's Aisle is the only surviving part of the collegiate church founded in 1425 by Thomas, 1st Lord Somerville which expanded the original church of 1386. It was the mausoleum of the Earls of Carnwath and the Lords Somerville before being converted to use by the Lockhart family.
