Old building in Douglas
This dilapidated steading has the feel of an old smiddy that has survived but I was unable to confirm. I've had to guess its location in relation to the surrounding buildings, as it doesn't seem to feature on the OS map.

Substantial retail premises built in the Victorian period give the impression of a former prosperity that has since waned. Douglas today seems poised somewhere between being classified as a village and a town.
