Toadstools, Beanhill, Milton Keynes.
Easter June 1979 Artist Lesley Bonner, Beanhill residents and volunteers. The toadstools were made at the request of a resident in Beanhill as play sculptures for young children and were sited in a public space close to the participant's homes. Most of the making process took place off site in the grounds of Interaction before installation and the final touches. The finishing of the project culminated in a celebratory party on the site with residents and guests "toasting the toadstools"
