Leafy Milton Keynes. The new city polarises views - people seem to love it or hate it - but many who comment have perhaps never been or maybe seen only one aspect of it. It can be very pleasant indeed, as here only five minutes walk from Milton Keynes Central station.

Rolling Stones
A southbound EWS Railways class 66 rumbles through Milton Keynes Central station with a trainload of ballast. The fully enclosed station footbridge can be seen in the background whilst the catenary dominates the foreground. Later electrifications are more friendly on the eye - the overhead wires being themselves suspended from wire supports rather than the heavy gantry in this view.
