On this side of the hotel there is a short ornamental canal, which doesn't actually connect with anything, but makes an attractive feature. There is also a fountain and on the right is a convenient food-orientated public house.

This food orientated public house is adjacent to a Premier Inn, although not under the same ownership. It probably gets most of its custom from guests at the hotel. The Fayre & Square brand is part of the Spirit Pub Company plc, which was demerged from Punch Taverns in 2011.

The ornamental canal at the Premier Inn, Shirwell Crescent, Furzton, Milton Keynes
This is the top end of the short ornamental canal by the Premier Inn and the adjacent Fayre & Square public house. The adjacent pool has been constructed at a slightly higher level so that the water flows down a miniature waterfall into the canal. Presumably there is some mechanism which recirculates the water back into the pool, which also feeds a fountain.
