Queensway, Bletchley
The creation of Milton Keynes, with its huge indoor shopping centre, did Bletchley's town centre no favours and Queensway, the main shopping street, has an uninspiring downmarket collection of shops (although, to be fair, it is no worse than many other British towns in the 2020s). Nevertheless, with its mature trees it can seem pleasant enough in the sunshine and the coming of East West Rail, which is intended to link Oxford with Cambridge through Bletchley, should see a revival in its fortunes. In this view the notice case in the foreground is provided by Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council.
