Junction for Verney Junction
Verney Junction is a small settlement owing its existence to the railway, although there is no longer a junction and only a 'mothballed' railway now. It is named after Sir Harry Verney, local squire and a director of the original railway giving rise to the junction.

New railway bridge near Verney Junction
The approach ramp being built for a new bridge that will cross the old LNWR railway line near Verney Junction. The bridge will replace the level crossing at the old Verney Junction station. The railway line is being rebuilt for East West Railway who will run express services between Milton Keynes and Oxford.
