Primitive Methodist Church, Swanbourne
The plaque above the porch says "Primitive Methodist church, erected 1858, rebuilt 19?7". One digit of the last date is unclear, it is 1907 according to Buckinghamshire Family History Society web page http://www.bucksfhs.org.uk/index.php?option=com_parish&task=display&rec=176&Itemid=120 . For church webpage see Aylesbury Vale Methodist Circuit http://www.aylesburymethodists.org.uk/swanbournemethodistchurc.htm . This year and next they celebrate the 100th anniversary of rebuilding and 150th of building.

Public Footpath
A recently cut back public footpath, which looks to have been covered in stinging nettles up until very recently! This footpath follows north into Swanbourne from Hoggeston.
