Parish Church of St. Nicholas, Church Street, Little Horwood, Bucks
The nave and south aisle date from 1200. The chancel was rebuilt in 1320 when it was both lengthened and widened. The tower was added in the 15th century with the porch added in 1828. In 1889, during a major restoration of the church, wall paintings were discovered, which had been hidden under layers of whitewash. This was almost certainly done at the time of the Reformation in the 16th century. The church is a Grade II* listed building.
