Situated in Silver Street, this TE replaced the former Manual TE in the early 1970s. Besides Newport Pagnell, this TE also serves Gayhurst, Lathbury, Moulsoe, Sherington, and Tyringham nearby. The Dolphin, Newport Pagnell
According to the town's historical society the Dolphin is of 16th century origin, although the pub's own website only claims 17th century. Either way, it has been a feature of the High Street for a very long time. The splendid Queen Anne period house next door is called Brewery House and was at one time occupied by the owners of a brewery that stood where the medical centre now is.

This young labrador, together with its toy bottle, has found a pleasant spot to lie down albeit obscuring some of the particulars in this High Street estate agent's window.
