Grand Union Canal: Bridge Number 94
Although this is obviously not the original, a bridge had to be constructed here when the canal was built around 1800 in order to take the lane between the then villages of Fenny Stratford and Simpson over it. Today the lane is Simpson Road. A couple of graceful curved pipe crossings complete the picture. From the north this is one of those slightly tricky bridges to negotiate with a long narrowboat as it is on a blind bend.
