Looking at the corner of Silver Street behind Market Square. Loved the old world feel of the roof materials and the stepped gable ends.

Interior of SS Mary & Giles' Church
Only the tower of the medieval church survived the town fire of 1742. The nave was rebuilt in 1777 by the Warwick architect Francis Hiorne, and the tall chancel added in 1928 by C.G. Hare. Pevsner in 1960 wrote: "The pleasure of the church is inside. It is a hall church with tall wooden piers of eight very thin clustered shafts carrying plaster rib vaults."
