Entrance to Gorham and Admiral Community Wood
On footpath from Hazel Street Road, near Admirals House. Leads to South Green Lane. This ancient woodland in the Kent Downs, has been bought by the Cromarty Trust, on behalf of the local community. It is managed by a group of local residents with help from the Kent Wildlife Trust. The woods are known for the variety of flora, which includes; wood anemones, bluebells, lady orchids, herb paris, lesser and greater butterfly orchids.
