Vineyard Crescent, Rainham
I took this picture mainly for the lamppost. These "Swan neck" style lampposts were everywhere in Rainham before disappearing in the late 1980s/ early 1990s. Could this be the last one (barely) surviving?

Vineyard Crescent, Rainham
Despite only being built in the 1970s, most of the properties in this street are empty. It looks likely that they will be torn down to make way for redevelopment. Since I last visited this street almost exactly one year ago, the distinctive "swan neck" lamppost has gone. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1469172
