Singapore Drive, Brompton
This is Ministry of Defence owned housing for soldiers at the nearby army base. The surrender of Singapore to the Japanese in 1942 was not a good time for the British so it is odd that the army named a road after the place.

The long distance path heads right towards Dock Road (heading towards Chatham) from Marlborough Road (in Gillingham). Opposite is King's Bastion, a close in the housing estate on Inner Lines.

Showing a running track, rugby pitch and spectators area. The facility is owned by the Royal School of Military Engineering, uninvited members of the public do not get access.
