Stoke Road towards Nash Street Farm
Although it looked threatening, this thunderstorm passed away north-westwards and the sun soon came out again to give a fine evening. This view is from Stoke Road which has a number of right-angled bends, possibly from the time of the Enclosures. This view looks towards Nash Street Farm.

Field alongside the railway
Although pylons can and often are a blot on the landscape there is no doubt that they can be dramatic in otherwise flat and featureless areas. This is the view from a track leading from Stoke Road to the freight line which runs across the Hoo Peninsula. The line runs beyond the hedge on the right but there is no access here.
