Showing railway arches with business premises underneath. The arches do look very cramped. Most of the businesses that use these arches seem to be associated with automotive repair.

Barton Hall, Strood
This is now a car bodywork repair business but it looks as though it was once a hall for hire. But it would have been quite small for that purpose, particularly when you consider that kitchen and toilet facilities would also take up some floorspace.
