Lunsford Lane leads downhill to meet A20 London Road, which leads left into Maidstone via Ditton. It also leads right to Wrotham Heath. The Mast is in Kent County Council works.

Old Milestone by the A20, London Road, Larkfield
Metal plate attached to stone post by the A20, in parish of EAST MALLING AND LARKFIELD (TONBRIDGE AND MALLING District), London Road, Larkfield, West of New Road and Esso filling station, in bank behind pavement, on North side of road. Kent hipped iron plate, erected by the Wrotham & Maidstone turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : MAIDSTONE / 4 : : TO / LONDON / 30 / - / EAST MAlling : : WROTHAM / 6 : Grade II listed.
