This footpath runs beside Channel Tunnel Rail Link before reaching Sandway Road. The land to the left is designated as a nature reserve. The railway heads to Ebbsfleet/London from Ashford/Folkestone.

Alms houses, East Street, Harrietsham
The plaque on the pediment reads "These Alms houses were founded and endowed Anno 1642 by MARK QUESTED Esqr. a Native of this Place, and a Member of the Worshipful Company of FISHMONGERS of LONDON. Rebuilt Anno 1770 at the expence [sic] of the said Company" The junction beyond the alms houses is Rectory Lane.
