Trolleybus in Park Wood estate, 1965
Trolleybuses on the Sutton Road route were extended into Park Wood in the 1960s, the final extension taking place in 1963. This is no.68 on Bell Road towards the end of its circuit of the estate. It was one of the post war batch of Sunbeam trolleybuses with Northern Coach Builders bodies which formed the backbone of the fleet. All the maisonette blocks of the type seen here have since been demolished and replace with new build.
