This was referred to on the website of the estate agents SmithsGore, at the time of this photograph, as being included in the plan “for redevelopment and refurbishment “Listed” Georgian building with later additions, former Victorian police barracks, miscellaneous further buildings, car parks and taxi premises”, with an offer price in excess of £1,000,000. The image of the Image shows the house called Wren’s Cross, now covered with scaffolding. It explains why the name was adopted for the development.
