The old Postley Works
Situated in Postley Road adjacent to South Park School, this was a small industrial unit housing a number of businesses. Formerly it was the Postley Works, the maintenance depot for the Maidstone & District bus company. The building is being demolished (October 2006) to make way for a residential development.

Footbridge over A229 Loose Road
Used mainly by schoolchildren, avoiding crossing the very busy road. Maidstone Grammar School is on right-hand side of road, and a primary school is on the left hand side of the road.
