Inside Burham Old Church
Burham Old Church (St Mary's) was deserted in the 19th century when the village moved away from the River Medway to higher ground and a New Church was built in the village. St Mary’s saw north and south aisles added to the original 12th-century structure but these were later pulled down. It is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The New Church has since been demolished.
