Brenley Lane where it crosses the railway
The section of the East Kent Railway between Chatham and Faversham opened on 25th January 1858. The continuation from Faversham to Canterbury East was opened on 9th July 1860 by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway. This is the view of Brenley Lane where it crosses the line between Faversham and Selling at Brenley Bridge. Selling is to the right on the way to Dover and Faversham is to the left.

Brenley Bridge
The section of the East Kent Railway between Chatham and Faversham opened on 25th January 1858. The continuation from Faversham to Canterbury East was opened on 9th July 1860 by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway. This is the view of Brenley Bridge where Brenley Lane crosses the line between Faversham and Selling. Faversham is the next station in this direction.

Prickly plant on Brenley Bridge, Boughton under Blean
Arctium is a genus of biennial plants commonly known as burdock. The heads have hooks and attach themselves to animals and humans which aids seed dispersal. But birds can get entangled and trapped in them.
