Entrance to a vacant site
This set of brick gateposts had obviously been the entrance to some kind of business or light industrial unit, but the site appeared vacant apart from a couple of closed buildings and one caravan and there was no sign from the main road.

Houses cut off by the Broughton Bypass
Coming out of the woods at this point we had hoped to cross the main road to the pub Image, but there was no way across the dual carriageway and we decided against the 1 mile detour over the road bridge to the west. The occupiers of these houses on the old London Road must likewise be frustrated if they want to head west!
