Faversham Hop Festival, 2016
The annual festival has run since 1990 and attracts more entertainers, stall holders and visitors each year. Here, in the pedestrianised area of West Street, Kentish cobnuts are on sale watched over by some rather immobile vendors.

Crystal Palace Pearly Queen at Faversham Hop Festival
Browsing outside the Hospice Shop in West Street. Apart from sewing on all those buttons and entertaining Faversham residents and visitors, Pearly Kings and Queens of London are dedicated to raising money for various charities.

The Happy Piper, for it is he, is playing to attract people to the new bridal shop, Lace and Grace. The shop window is behind him and the door to Secret House is to the left. He is a Scot living in Kent and he plays at various social functions.
