Bollywood comes to Faversham
Once again, Faversham has proved itself to be a popular town for filming. It has been proceeding over the weekend and looks set to continue for some time. Looking at the fascias over the market stalls, it becomes obvious that this is not our usual market but part of the film set.

Faversham features [1]
Market day in Court Street, leading to Market Place. Faversham is a market town in Kent, some 41 miles southeast of London and 8½ miles west of Canterbury. Settlement goes back to the pre- Roman period. Kent is the centre of hop-growing in England and Faversham has been the home of several breweries, including the Shepherd Neame Brewery, founded in 1698. Faversham was the centre of the explosives industry between the 17th and early 20th century, before a decline following an accident in 1916 which killed over 100 workers.
