A pioneering building, its bow paying tribute to nearby Heaton Hall. Close-set mullions, entrances on each side featuring pronounced cantilevered canopies. By Leonard C. Howitt, City Architect, 1959. Grade II listed.

King William IV Fishing Pond Blackley New Road.
Locally known as the Bottom Billy, and is well stocked with coarse fish.
Photo was taken on New Year's Eve 2008 in freezing fog, temperature was -4.

Near Blackley Forest, Manchester
Blackley Forest was replanted in 1953. Just beside it is a lake rented out to a local fishing club. The flats in the distance are (I think) on Bridgnorth Road.
