Bus Turnround, Boyle Street.
Leyland Titan PD2 (registration number PTE 944C), in the livery of Ashton-under-Lyne Corporation Passenger Transport, waits at the bus turnround opposite the Greater Manchester Museum of Transport in Boyle Street, Cheetham Hill. The bus, which originally entered service in 1965, was operating a "heritage bus" shuttle service between the museum and Manchester Victoria (rail) Station.

Salford Bus at Boyle Street
Ex Salford City Transport 254 Leyland Titan PD2/40 (FRJ 254D) from the Greater Manchester Museum of Transport collection, stands at the turning circle opposite the museum in Boyle Street. This bus was delivered new to Salford in 1966 and carried fleet number 254.

Seventy-year old bus on Boyle Street
Ex-North Leyland Titan PD2/1 double-decker (CDB 224), with its blinds set to show the X60 route to Blackpool, stands outside the Greater Manchester Museum of Transport on Boyle Street. This bus was delivered new to the North Western company in 1947 and carries fleet number 224. Immaculately preserved, it is hard to imagine that this bus is more than 70 years old.
