Terraced houses, Seedley Park Road
These houses built c.1900 are evidence of the prosperity enjoyed by the people of Salford
following the opening of the Manchester Ship Canal which is a short walk from here.

Seedley Park, Salford
Looking W along Lower Seedley Road near its junction with Seedley Park Road. Seedley Park (opened 1876), and other local parks were established to try to avoid the devastation caused by the building boom of the Industrial Revolution that had affected other areas of the Manchester region.
