The Willows North Stand
Here, near the junction of Gore Ave and Weaste Lane, can be seen the North Stand of the Willows Stadium, the home of Salford City Reds Rugby League team.

Former Lancashire Mining Museum, Salford
Originally opened in 1957 and based in the basement of this fine old house, it expanded through the building but was ultimately closed in about 2000 and the collections moved to the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester.
This shows simulated underground workings.
