Indees Convenience Store, 1 Derby Road, Weaste
Located on the corner of Eccles New Road and Derby Road, this store is open 7 days a week, and seems to sell a large variety of items. It is also an off-licence. The building appears fairly new, and is no doubt part of the huge redevelopment that has taken place in this area. Parked by the side of the shop is a Manchester Evening News poster. Its headline is "Corrie star's husband accused of attack".

Former pub, Eccles New Road, Salford (1)
The Coach and Horses, dating from the 1920s. The interior is reputedly unspoiled. Grade II listed.
Its listing has probably saved it from demolition, but in 2024 it was still apparently empty.
