Taken from the Metrolink as it approaches Pomona station as it travels from Salford to Manchester, I am looking across the River Irwell to the Soapworks www.soapworks.co.uk in Ordsall. The chimneys of the Tudor Ordsall Hall are just visible beyond the sheds.

Ordsall Hall, Salford
Grade I listed Tudor Manor House, first recorded in 1177. It was fully restored from 2009 to 2011 and is open to the public. It was the home of the Radclyffe family and legend links it to Guy Fawkes.
