Manchester Metrolink crossing Trafford Road (A5063), Salford Quays, Salford
Having left Salford Quays tram stop, the Metrolink here crosses the busy Trafford Road, at a light controlled crossing. It then continues on the grassed area, near to which are large modern blocks of apartments.

Manchester Metrolink grassed track by Etap Hotel, Salford Quays, Salford
After crossing Trafford Road, the Metrolink's tracks run for a while on this grassed section. On the left (but not seen in this photo) is an Etap Hotel.

Salford Quay Jetsam
View from quayside near Merchant Quay. Jetsam is stuff that has been thrown in the water. Old Trafford, the home of Man Utd is less than half a mile away. This may explain the voluntary disposal of soccer balls? Pretty ghastly all the same.
