On its last legs, fittingly given its location at Weaste Cemetery. Built around 1886 when the cemetery was extended. Grade II listed.

RSPCA Greater Manchester Animal Hospital, 411 Eccles New Road, Weaste
Located on the corner of Eccles New Road and Kirkham Street, the animal hospital is operated by the Tameside & Glossop branch of the RSPCA, which is a registered charity in its own right. The hospital provides an assisted veterinary treatment scheme to people living in the Tameside area, who are in receipt of means-tested benefits. It is located near the site of an old RSPCA animal clinic.
