Media CityUK Metrolink Station
A Manchester bound Metrolink tram leaves the Media CityUK tram station which was opened on 20 September 2010 as the terminus of a specially-constructed 360 metre spur from the Eccles Line.

Bee sculpture at Media City sponsored by BBC Radio Manchester, Blue Peter and Peel Media Ltd as part of the Bee in the City artwork project. Yet another example of the appalling puns characteristic of the project.

Bee in the City #91, Blue Bee-ter at MediaCityUK
Blue Bee-ter was bee#91 in the Bee in the City trail between July and September 2018. At the end of the event, most of the bee sculptures were auctioned and the proceeds were given to charity. This is one of the bees that were retained. Designed by artist Jodie Silverman and sponsored by the BBC, it has been returned to the Green at MediaCityUK, close to the Blue Peter Garden.

The Lightwaves 2018 festival was held between 7th and 16th December. As in previous years, the free event featured a range of impressive light displays and playful art installations; some returning and some newly created.

Looking towards The Studios, MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, Salford
Quite a futuristic urban landscape, with The Studios in the middle. In front of that is the MediaCityUK Metrolink tram stop. Some parts of the BBC are due to be relocated to this area during 2011, including the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
